The objective of the sixth international symposium on new and renewable energy which will take place at the Unit of Applied Research in Renewable Energies of Ghardaïa (Renewable Energy Development Centre, CDER) is to make an update on the progress of research work in the new energy field and renewable energies, with a special focus on their applications in southern Algeria areas. This high level international scientific conference gathering which comes after the great success of the first, second, third, fourth and five SIENR organized respectively by URAER in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018 wanted to be a tradition. As to bring together researchers from different laboratories and professionals of industry and policy makers in order to exchange their experience and expertise in the field of new and renewable energy.
