Solar Architecture and Bioclimatic

Its main mission is to ensure durability and maximum comfort while reducing energy consumption through passive and active architectural techniques. The goal is to improve energy efficiency by controlling the hygro-thermo-aeraulic comfort of a built construction. The main lines of research are:

  • Thermo-aeraulic buildings: simulation, experimentation and validation elements
  • Passive and active energy concepts
  • Diagnosis and quantification of energy needs
  • The impact of urban microclimates on the energy demand of buildings

  • Diagrams of comfort

    Labeling of buildings (KWh / m 2/an)

Integration of active energy concepts (heating and cooling)
